Young Cardinals (2009-2012) were formed as a 3-piece rock/pop band comprising of Ted McGrory (vocals & guitar), Chris Broad (drums) and Matt Davies (bass) in late 2009.

The band moved from being a 3-piece to a 4-piece with the addition of Beth Frisby in 2011 - joining to add both a different/additional voice, as well as violin, to the bands' sound.

The bands' self-titled debut 5 track E.P. was recorded with Andy of Superfly Studios, Ollerton in 2011.

The bands' first recordings (*demos) were recorded in 2010 by Dan Bond in an upstairs room of the Lord Harrowby public house, Grantham - with vocals being recorded during a later session in Ted's basement.
